Intradistrict Transfer Request

An application must be completed for each student who wishes to attend an alternate attendance area school. Your attendance area school is the school your home address is assigned to within the Wayzata Public Schools District.
Approval Guidelines

Intradistrict transfer applications are approved based on available space, with the following applications given priority:
- Siblings who will be attending the requested school during the same school year as the transfer
- Students with childcare in the requested school’s attendance area
- Children of part- or full-time Wayzata Public Schools employees
Priority does not guarantee approval. If your request is due to special circumstances, please explain on page two of this form. Decisions will be sent to the parent or guardian email(s) provided on the application.
